Haley and Giovanni first met within the walls of the Fine Arts Building, at UNK. Although they knew of each other for over a year, they hadn't started talking until the Fall of 2022.

The first step was made by Haley as she had an English 102 assignment to interview someone within the working field. At the time Gio was a student and a part-time worker for the university. Haley's friend, Hannah, suggested interviewing Gio, as his position was a unique one.

During the interview, they both felt a spark that started their journey together. various late-nights consisting of movies, date nights, long conversations and even the infamous McDonald's run. As time passed, the two became inseparable.

Their walk with God has been the rock they have based their relationship around. Gio's Love of music and God drove a desire for him to seek a way to use his gifts to thank god. he is a worship leader for the bilingual ministry at Kearney Efree. Haley has a deep love for music and you can find her any day of the week singing at least one worship song that spoke to her that day. This love to god led Haley to volunteer as a singer. Together, they want to continue their walk with christ and put God first in their relationship and family to come.
